Birch Creek Chalet at Lakeside is situated in a prime location on the prestigious Humber Valley Resort, on an elevated position on the hillside overlooking the Lake through woodland. The house is a 5 minute drive from the large clubhouse/entertainment centre which is the centre piece of the resort. See photos.

The house sits on a one acre site and offers substantial privacy. A hillside mountain stream runs the length of the property. There is split level accommodation on 2 levels, with extensive decking to maximize living space and integrates with the outdoors. It is accessed both from a second level rear door or from a first level front door. The house comprises a total of 2,495 sq feet in living space with an additional 560 sq ft in decking surrounding the bottom level of the house. The house is brand new and in a move in condition, it was completed in autumn 2007.

The Humber Valley is a pristine wilderness, yet to be fully discovered by mass tourism, with the development of award-winning Humber Valley Resort, including Golf courses and upgrades to Marble Mountain Ski Resort, we see the area as a future destination resort area, with multitude of outdoor activities, National Parks and points of interest.

Within easy access are Corner Brook with all the usual facilities; hospital, shopping including Mall, Walmart, fast food and Banks.

Favourite activities in the area include Skiing, Snowboarding, Ski kiting, Snow shoeing, Snowmobiling, Hiking, Camping, fishing (Humber River has one of the largest Salmon runs in the Atlantic) Sea fishing, Whale watching, Iceberg spotting, horse back riding, Golf, mountain biking, more and more.

GETTING THERE: Humber Valley is serviced by 2 airports, the provincial airport in Corner Brook and Deer Lake International. Deer Lake is at the North Eastern end of the Valley, approximately 20 miuntes drive from Marble Mountain. There are twice weekly flights to/from London (GTW) thrice weekly in the summer, as well as a new lines coming in from Belfast (NI) & Toronto. Currently, there are daily connections with St Johns, Halifax and Montreal
