A unique location with a long history. Once this was a house with a boat yard, but since the early eighties it has been in use as a restaurant. The name Tarsanas is well known to anyone living in Skiathos or visiting the island regularly. The location is fantastic. Situated on a very small beach on the border of the old part of town, it has view to the sea, and all boats entering the harbor. It is on walking distance but can also be visited by small boats. The taverna was closed around the year 2000. Since then it has not been in use, and it is starting to fall apart. This unique place deserves to be rented by someone with guts and a vision. It can be a very exclusive place, and it is possible to use the beach too, but you need tot dare to take the challenge. Intensive renovation is required. The good thing is that you can create your own atmosphere and that the name Tarsanas still sounds good. Every year many people take the stroll through the side streets to see if their once favorite restaurant has opened its doors again.
The place offers the possibility to have tables indoors and outdoors, and it could host at least 30 to 40 tables.
It is not necessary to keep it a restaurant, the owners just want to find an entrepreneur that will understand the value of the building and the location and will restore it to what it deserves to be.
