The 20th International Championship of Croatia - ATP Studena Croatia Open Umag 2009, is on from the 27th July until the 2nd August 2009. And even if you are not a tennis enthusiast, this is still a wonderful place to come and spend a holiday. Relax and enjoy the historical sites in and around Umag. UMAG has become one of the favourite holiday destinations for many tourists and lies on the north-western coast of Istria. With its narrow streets, which all run into each other; these being the remains of what used to be a Roman town. It is a modern tourist centre and has everything to offer for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. Plenty of places to entertain you, great wine and dinning and not forgetting, the clear blue beautiful sea.
Ryan air has direct flights to Pula from Stansted - 3 times per week. Flights also to Trieste Italy. Flights direct into Pula from Edinburgh and Glasgow are available.
Pula airport and Trieste are just approximately a 40 minute drive to Umag.
