The main harbor town of Alonissos - Patitiri - can be reached within 20
minutes by car. There you will find gaily colored caiques, ready to carry visitors to the lovely coves and beaches around the island. Patitiri is also the island’s liveliest spot. The harbor is lined by waterfront bars and tavernas where the sea food is exceptionally good. Patitiri has several hotels, a new medical center, several supermarkets, two bakeries, two butcher’s shops, a bank, police station, doctors and a friendly multilingual priest, taxis, vehicle hire and various craft shops.
