Dubai is the most populated emirate of the seven which make up the United Arab Emirates. Its' main revenue sources are trade, financial services and real estate. Contrary to popular belief oil is not the primary income generator for Dubai. In fact oil and gas revenues were under 6% in 2006. Construction and real estate was responsible for over 22% of Dubai's earnings in 2005. This figure has increased significantly in the construction boom in subsequent years.
Dubai's fabulous weather has played a considerable part in its' appeal to investors looking for property for sale in Dubai. The temperature ranges from 30C in December to 47C in July. This makes dubai real estate an attractive proposition as either a second home or a vacation rental.
